The Armed Forces Reserve Center is a three story building with 220,000 sf of space on 35 acres of Dobbins Air Force Base in Marietta. This facility houses the Army National Guard, Air National Guard, and Georgia State Department of Defense. The new building provides a multitude of services including a full service kitchen, an 8,000 sf assembly hall, acoustically engineered band rehearsal rooms, joint operations control center, training classrooms, recruiting office, and approximately 130,000 sf of new office space. The front entrance to the building is flanked with a 100 foot granite memorial wall honoring the National Guard. The project is aiming at a LEED Silver certification.
