Emily began her career with New South as an intern and joined full time in 2013. Working as the firm’s senior scheduler, Emily’s enthusiasm for scheduling is hard to miss. She takes pride in the schedules she plans, monitors, and controls, working to make them a solid foundation for our teams, subcontractors, and owners to use every day. Outside of the office, she is a member of The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International. In her spare time, Emily enjoys backpacking with her husband and gardening. She received her bachelor’s degree in building construction from Georgia Tech.

Emily’s advice to someone looking to be in the construction industry: “Believe in your ability to learn and grown, and back yourself.”
