​John joined New South in 2010, bringing over 20 years of experience to his role as a vice president and project executive. Outside of the office, he is an associate member of Life Cycle Building, a nonprofit that captures building materials from the waste stream and directs them back into the community through reuse. In his spare time, John enjoys mountain biking, working on small projects around the house, and playing in the pool with his daughters. He attended college in Glasgow, Scotland.

Out of New South’s six core values, John resonates most with Passion and Commitment: “I have never worked outside of the construction industry, and I enjoy it today as much as when I started. In terms of commitment, I always try and do what I say I am going to do, whether that is to an owner or a laborer on a job site. Being committed to your staff and employees is important in receiving loyalty from them.”
