The restoration of the Druid Hills Golf Club included construction of a new pool pavilion with a covered activity area, new men and women’s restrooms and showers, an attendant’s room, a toilet and changing area and storage space. The wood trellis was extended toward the existing clubhouse and complemented by GFRC columns on top of stone veneer piers connected with picketed handrails. The entire pool deck was extended 12 feet and connected to the activity area of the pavilion. A new stone veneered retaining wall faces the golf course and Clifton Road. This project also included a new handicap ramp from the clubhouse to the existing pool deck.

Phase II of the restoration included a new, three-story golf pavilion. The lower level houses golf cart and bag storage and the main level houses the pro shop and Turngrille overlooking the 18th green. The men’s locker room covers the entire upper level with views down the 1st and 18th fairways.

This project was a continuation of the successful contracting relationship between New South Construction and Druid Hills Golf Club, which started with our first project in 1995.
