Cherokee Town & Country Club is recognized as one of America’s premier private clubs. New South recently completed the expansion of a parking lot, adding 55 new paved spaces, and reimagined the existing areas behind the Town Club. This area, originally home to the carriage house built in the mid-1900s for the Grant Estate, later became the pool snack bar and aquatic facilities in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and has now been transformed into the new Oasis. Project Oasis will provide the club with a new family pool and splash pad with associated locker/restroom facilities, separate adult pool with restroom facilities, a freestanding restaurant, and a pavilion bar. These new resort-style amenities will be easily accessible from the rear of the club as a new walk-out backyard space that maximizes usable area for members. The project also includes a new facility maintenance building to support the staff on property, a new guard shack at the club’s main entrance to welcome members and guests, and state of the art on site laundry facilities.
