First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is located in Midtown Atlanta, on the main road Peachtree Street. The project involved renovations to offices, pre-school, and Sunday school areas along with a ground-up new construction atrium building in the core of campus. The project was divided into three separate permitted areas to allow for a phased turnover to the owner, the primary reason being to allow for the continual use of the building/campus during the construction phases of the project. Logistics and clear communication were critical to the project success, specifically as it relates to removing and abutting existing historical buildings from multiple decades.
