On Monday, January 27, New South joined the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) to break ground on their new downtown Atlanta headquarters. The new four-story, 27,000-square-foot building will bring GMA much needed additional office space, and will include a five-story,146-space parking deck that will directly connect to three floors of the new building. The new building will also include a first-floor conference room large enough for GMA Board meetings and other functions for up to 140 people. The fourth floor of the building will feature a roof-top terrace large enough to accommodate up to 200 people for special events. Additionally, the project scope includes the renovation of the existing 24,000-square-foot building. A landscaped courtyard will connect the two buildings.

Stevens & Wilkinson is the architect on the project and Comprehensive Program Services is the program manager.

Construction is scheduled for completion in December 2020.
