The Jackson County Fire Training Center is comprised of a 12,00 sf Fire Station, a four-story Live Fire Burn Building, and a Special Equipment Driving Course. The Fire Station is an inmate run facility and provides state-wide specialized fire training. A 50,000 gallon pump test station is onsite to provide maintenance and testing for the fire trucks and pump equipment.
