Wesleyan School’s Yancey Gymnasium was built during the final building campaign known as, “Completing the Campus.” One of the highlights of this project is the 16,000-square-foot wood gymnasium floor on the lower level. The lower level also houses a full-service weight room, boy’s and girl’s locker rooms, boy’s and girl’s visitor locker rooms, as well as male and female coach’s locker rooms. The upper level features administration and coach’s offices, a multipurpose room, a concessions area, as well as full perimeter viewing of the entire basketball area.  

The Yancey Gymnasium is located in the center of campus and the school remained fully operational while the building was under construction. Daily and after school activities could not be affected by the construction schedule.
