The Blake Center will be located in the heart of Westminster’s campus and serve as a hub of innovation with spaces dedicated to cultivating collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity and leadership. The four-story, 40,000-square-foot building will feature large, flexible-use classroom spaces as well as instructional spaces for computer science, graphic arts, engineering and robotics programs. Additionally, the center will include a state-of-the-art broadcast and editing suite, two dedicated art labs, and an outdoor tech plaza that will connect the innovation labs to the Middle School innovation spaces. Project scope also includes the demolition of the existing Scott Hall as well as a full renovation of the adjacent Upper School Quad.
