Situated within Atlantic Station, a multi-living neighborhood, the seven-story mass timber project, T3 West Midtown, features workspaces designed for collaboration and ample social common areas. The 230,000-square-foot building is the first Wired Certified Platinum new development in Atlanta. T3 offers tenants access to amenities such as a fitness center, balconies, a rooftop deck, and a conference center.

On a tight site with an aggressive schedule, the T3 West Midtown project had challenges from the beginning. But add in the complexity and relative newness of mass timber-framed construction and New South had to perform at a high level. Working around inclement weather during one of the heaviest rainfall winters in Atlanta’s history, the team provided innovative scheduling, planning, and on-the-spot problem solving to mitigate the weather’s impacts on the mass timber wood structure. This involved numerous custom solutions and working long hours and weekends, but the team proved to be up to the task and delivered a first-class office building to Hines within budget and schedule.
